About Us

Performance With Heart.

ACE INC exists to prove a simple idea: that American manufacturing can deliver race-grade engineering at a price real builders can afford. We design and manufacture high-performance Gen III HEMI engine blocks and components from Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) — the same advanced material trusted in the most demanding OEM and motorsport applications. No middlemen, no overseas castings, no dealer markup. Just real parts, made here, priced fair.

Why CGI, and why it matters.

Most performance blocks are cast from gray iron or aluminum. We chose CGI because the metallurgy is simply better for what these engines have to survive. In CGI, the graphite forms compacted, worm-like structures instead of the sharp flakes you get in gray iron. Those flakes are stress risers — the spots where cracks start. Take them out and the numbers move hard: industry figures put CGI at up to 75% higher tensile strength and roughly double the fatigue strength of conventional gray iron, with meaningfully higher stiffness.

In plain terms, that means a block that holds up to more cylinder pressure and higher RPM, with the dimensional stability to stay true under boost, and no need for cylinder liners. The catch is that CGI is genuinely hard to cast. The window between gray iron and ductile iron is narrow, and you have to control the melt to hit it every time. That process control is the whole game — and it's why we run it in-house.

Built in-house, in the USA.

We're a vertically integrated manufacturer — taking raw metal to finished part through our own foundry and CNC machine shop in Brighton, Michigan. As a SinterCast-licensed CGI foundry, we bring OEM-grade material technology to the aftermarket and control it end to end. That control is how we hold quality, shorten lead times, and sell direct to you — with no dealer markups and the same price for everyone.

The engineering behind it.

Every ACE INC design is developed under the direct oversight of Eric Cunningham, former Chief Engineer at SRT/MOPAR. There he led development of the Hellephant 426 crate engine, the Ram TRX 6.2L supercharged HEMI, and the Dodge Drag Pak that took the 2018 FSS National Championships in both NHRA and NMCA. That's OEM-level engineering, now pointed at the aftermarket — and at you.

Where we're headed.

We want to be the most customer-focused performance parts company in the world, and to prove American manufacturing can win on quality, value, and service. HEMI first, then everywhere. The CGI block is the start, with cylinder heads, intakes, and superchargers on the way.
