ACE DRAG PAK – Gen III HEMI CGI Engine Block | 4.125" Standard Deck, Non-VCT 60mm Roller

Built for the strip. ACE DRAG PAK is the drag and bracket race configuration: standard 9.285" deck, 937 roller-guided splay lifter bushings, and a non-VCT front drive with a 60mm roller cam tunnel that clears the lift and duration a race cam actually wants. This is a purpose-built race block, not a street block with race parts added.

Fitment

Drag and bracket race spec for the 6.2L / 6.4L Gen III HEMI family. The 937 splay roller-guided lifter bores support high-RPM valvetrain and ACE INC high-flow heads; the 60mm cam tunnel makes room for a big-lift roller.

Machine work required

Rough bore. This block ships .003" undersize at 4.125". Your machine shop finish-hones it to final bore before ring fit, matched to your ring package.

Supporting parts — read this before ordering

This is a non-VCT configuration. It runs a fixed-timing front drive and is not compatible with factory variable cam timing. It requires a non-VCT cam, and the 937 roller-guided splay lifters need a cam ground to match. Talk to an engineer to confirm your cam package before you order — this is the single most common place a race block order goes wrong.

ACE CGI engineering — on every block

• Compacted graphite iron, 450 MPa minimum tensile strength (GJV-450)
• 6-bolt 4140 billet steel main caps on all five mains
• M14 head stud threads in the deck; 9.5" studs for roughly 50% more stretch compliance, so clamp load stays stable through a knock event
• True priority main oil gallery, dedicated lifter secondary circuit, and a straight filter-to-MOG feed with no 90° turns
• Dry sump feed provision; cast-in -8 ORB oil drain-back ports at the pan rail by cylinders 1 and 2
• Stroker clearance for 5.100" stroke with 2.200" rod journals
• Fully water jacketed — race block strength, street driveable
• Serialized casting, shipped with its CMM report and full casting and machining QC documentation
• Cast and machined in-house at our Michigan foundry and CNC cell
